Yeah. So.
We beat a 30 year high heat record today in good ole SC.. by 4 stinkin degrees. Hence the title.. rediculous. I found myself in shades and shorts yesterday changing some coolant on a Jimmy and broke a sweat just laying there it was so hot.

We've had Seattle weather for a week-- kinda nice, though-- need the rain and snow. Skiers are happy, over a 50" base in Flagstaff. Tourists are disappointed, but... sun's out this morning!

Snow 2 Nights ago, only 2". Got down to 9 degrees last night! and a town 20 miles from Spokane got down to -1 degrees last night. Winter is here, the Ski resorts got hit with the pineapple express last week and so they have no snow or very little; so that will make my Christmas spending cash a little less (I'm a Ski instructor at Mt. Spokane in the winter months.)

Man, I flew over your house on final Saturday, knowing we'd hit the ground running with the 48 or so hours we had to do everything we needed to do... first stop Snohomish, where the snow hit hard... we were gonna have dinner with my cousin in Monroe, but thought better of it... Sunday, more appointments in U-District and Capitol Hill... then the stupid Marriot screwed with our finances (so did Budget), causing us to lose the only free time we would have had Monday morning before the flight... 'cause I wanted to stop by on the way back to the airport and introduce you guys to Christine, maybe see the baby... but we ran through that trip like O.J. through the airport.

There will be more in the future, so please excuse us, we'll try to do better.

It was 65 today i think....pretty nice out. I took the stang out and had some hangers welded on some mufflers for it. I drove the XR home with the windows down and enjoyed the wistly straight pipe exhaust tone The Merkur Club of America Forums (19)

AHAHAHHAHAHAAA!!!!!!Yes between the last two storms I have a measured/ Confirmed 11+ inches. Not sure if your originally from around here but most know that Colorado weather can be crazy. Sun shine in Longmont, blizzard like in Boulder. BTW I'm over off S. Boulder road.
As for getting around in the snow. Ya yah yea! I been out in the Merk drift'n and playing but there are way to many idiot's to risk my XR to. I guess I should have said also in my short comment to Merlin that I have a snow removal company, so no 4x4 means I am not gonna make nearly the $$$ I would like to but hey My Moms PT cruiser is doing just fine.
Sorry to act like an ass, just sick of doubtful people. Also BTW is your Merk red? ish.

Like said at Western and 55th, we had less than 11. I'n not from here, but have been here for 15 yrs. I hate winter here, not enough snow, too damn brown, and f***** 70+ on new years day. It's just so wrong. My car is black and rusty. The red car in South boulder is Jim Abels.

ah. yes. 7o+ deg. on a New Years and then dump 20 more inches in April. this state is just wacked for weather ya gotta love it. I moved here in 1983. Lots of changes to the town since. I miss the small town fell, riding my go cart all over Boulder's streets during the BOLDER Boulder. what a blast!
I ran in to Jim one time over by the McDonalds on Tablemesa and then his son (can't remember his name) at the Safeway on Baseline. I came outside with groceries and there were about 5 younger guys looking under and in the XR. Met Bill Williams by a chance encounter via Craigslist.

The red one I saw was downtown by the RTD bus station. It's amazing how many are in the area. It would indeed be nice to get a list together and make some occasions to hang, shoot the $hit etc you know
